EXPERTS WEIGH IN ON NV ENERGY’s NEW PROPOSAL
During Nevada’s biennial legislative session, NV Energy, the state’s largest electric utility, proposed an Amendment called NVision for Senate Bill 123 during the 2013 legislative session, which runs until June. SB 123 originally changed the incentives for distributed solar, wind and hydropower from a flat rate to incentives-based – that is, based on actual power generated.
